Dr. Michelle Egenmaier joined Evansville Eyecare Associates in 2008 after attaining her Doctorate at Indiana University School of Optometry. She is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, the AOA Contact Lens Section, and a participant in InfantSEE. She also enjoys doing volunteer work as an active member of the Junior League of Evansville. After graduating from North High School in 2000, Dr. Michelle went on to Indiana University where she received her Bachelor’s in Biology before moving on to Optometry School. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Michelle enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. |

Dr. Roger Haywood received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 1971. He practiced in Las Vegas while in the Air Force until 1974, and he then came to Evansville. He joined Evansville Eyecare Associates, and he has been practicing here ever since. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association, AOA Contact Lens Section, and the Evansville Businessman’s Club. He is originally from Somerville, New Jersey where he was born in 1947. He is married with three children, and he is an avid golfer and bridge player. |

Dr. Kim Haywood-Pfender is Dr. Roger Haywood’s daughter, and she joined Evansville Eyecare Associates in 1996 after receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association, and the AOA Contact Lens Section. In addition, Dr. Kim volunteers for many service organizations in Evansville. Her high school alma mater is Harrison High School where she played on their state champion golf team. For her undergraduate studies, Dr. Kim attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where she was a member of the varsity golf team. She still enjoys golf and loves to travel with her husband Jim. |

Dr. William Simmons retired from Evansville Eyecare Associates in January of 1998. He was the co-founder of Evansville Eyecare Associates when the practice opened in 1958. Dr. Simmons is currently devoting several hours to community service, as well as to the golf course! We all will miss his caring and thoughtful ways. |
